Proms for Homeschoolers

Updated for Winter & Spring 2008! Send your information in as soon as possible! I will format as close as possible to how you send it, within the limits of this format. Each prom announcement must have at least one way of making online contact with the organizers... website url or email address.

By Ann Zeise

Several states are having state-wide proms for homeschoolers this year. Here are their announcements. If I don't have your prom here, send me an email with content similar to those entries below. It is free to promote your homeschool prom here. It is important to sign up early as the sponsors have lots of desposits to make. Unlike school proms, you do not have to have a date to have fun at a homeschool prom, just dress up and go! Celebrate the transition to the next stage of your life!

For those co-ordinating such proms, there's a Yahoo Group just for you!

Homeschool Prom Moms Support Group
This is a support group for homeschooling moms who are involved in coordinating a homeschool prom. We will share ideas, experiences & support when others don't understand why we do this.

Learn How to Tie a Tie
Assuming no previous knowledge on your part, I will be using colored and easy-to-follow diagrams as well as simple step-by-step instructions to help you on your way to become a real master at tying ties in no time. That way, learning how to tie a tie will be fun and about as easy as coloring by numbers!

The 2008 South-Florida Christian Homeschool Prom promises to be a night to remember as attendees travel under the stars through the beautiful Intercoastal waterways of South-Florida.

This year's prom will once again have all the fun, elegance and excitement of previous proms, but with the added element of being on board one of South-Florida's premier luxury yachts.

The cost for this year's prom is $85.00 per student (ages 14 & older) through February 30, 2008. It will then be $90.00 per student as of March 1, 2008.
