arrange the swaps through message boards, email, or take the
material on consignment. I do not list sites that are only for

Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations
If you have books to donate, first contact your local public library. Some libraries have donation guidelines posted on their website, others you will need to contact by phone. Your local library can provide acceptable donation guidelines. If your library is not currently accepting donations and you are willing to pay shipping, we invite you to donate to our non-profit organization.

Rebuilding New Orleans Public Library
Many caring people have contacted us to ask how they can help.
You can assist by donating funds or books. New books will be
used to replace those damaged in our branches; the Friends of
NOPL will accept used books for their fund-raising book sales.
