Tutoring

These tutoring services are looking for both teachers and students. Homeschool families sometimes "outsource" some instruction when a child's needs cannot be met within the family circle. Hiring a tutor full time makes a family (and the tutor) fall under the tutoring laws of a state's education code, rather than under homeschooling laws.

Advice & Discussion

Changing Teachers to Tutors/Mentors/Learning Facilitators
A new format for education needs to be adopted. By Merrill L. Tew.
