Changes in Financial Aid for College-Bound Homeschoolers
In the recent Federal Student Aid Book: Vol. 2010-2011, a few minor changes were made that apply to homeschoolers who want to apply for admission to colleges and universities and for Federal loans and grants for college. One important note: when filling out FAFSA paperwork, be sure to choose 'homeschool diploma' when asked.

Completing The FAFSA: The Application Process
Your financial aid "package" ­ the aid your school awards you ­ is likely to include funds from the federal student aid programs. Note that not all schools participate in all of the Federal Student Aid Programs.

A December FAFSA Primer
The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Fill out the FAFSA on January 1st of the student's senior year of high school, and make that your New Year's Day tradition. Repeat that process every January 1st until your youngest child has graduated college.
