Academy for Excellence
We have a "local program" for families in St. Clair, Talladega, and Calhoun counties, as well as a "statewide" program for others. We offer record-keeping on-line, a message/chat board for homeschoolers, help choosing curriculum, field trips, and more.

Bethany Learning Academy
We believe that each family should define their personal standards by which to live. We hold an orientation for those who choose to attend. We do not require a statement of faith.

An umbrella or cover school that accepts students from all over
the State of Alabama regardless of religion, culture or race.
Bright Horizons Academy
We do not require a Statement of Faith, nor do we require membership in HSLDA, although discount memberships are available. We require attendance and grades be turned in quarterly. We offer field trips and activities, information and support via our support group, Shelby County Alabama Homeschoolers, which can be found in Yahoo groups. We also offer year round enrollment.
Christ UMC Homeschool Academy
We all need to have the basics taken care of when homeschooling, such as attendance and grades; however we go a step beyond by providing activities for the whole familiy. From our preschool program all the way to our exciting graduation ceremony. We leave no stone unturned in your homeschooling journey. Based in Mobile.
Christian Fellowship Academy
A church school in Alabama offering a Christian family-based home
education program. We encourage parents to use a broad spectrum
of materials. No written statement required, but please
remember we are a ministry for Christian Families.

We are a church cover school based out of First Assembly of God in Clanton, Alabama and welcome families from all surrounding Montgomery and Birmingham areas.We are dedicated to helping families educate their children at home.

A church school that offers a legal alternative for families
who wish to homeschool. We are located in Central Alabama and
offer our services to anyone in the state. We do not ask that
families sign a statement of faith, join HSLDA or any legal group.

No Statement or faith required. Progress reports and grades submitted by quartile. Focus is on homeschoolers in Marshall, Limestone, Madison, Cullman, Lawrence, and Morgan counties, but others welcome.
