Alabama Support Groups A2Z Loop A support group for homeschooling families belonging to the A2Z group in Auburn-Opelika area. Athens Home School Support Network The group is open to all home school families in the Limestone, Madison, Morgan, and Lauderdale Counties in North Alabama. Bradford Park Support This list was begun for homeschoolers and potential homeschoolers in the Pinson, Trussville, Center Point and surrounding areas in Alabama. We will discuss homeschooling and family, giving and accepting support as we can. Brook Hills Heart & Home Educators Our mission is to promote unity and community among Brook Hills' home-based educators by providing encouragement, resources, and support. Central Alabama Independent Homeschools This group is open to anyone homeschooling, or interested in homeschooling, but primarily we are interested in other homeschooling families located in or near Central Alabama. East-Central AL Charlotte Mason Study Group We meet on the 4th Tuesday evening of each month in Eastaboga to encourage and learn from each other as we study various writings about using the Charlotte Mason method to educate our children. Elmore County Homeschool Organization ECHO is a support group for all families in the greater Wetumpka and Millbrook areas of Elmore County, Alabama, who homeschool. Fellowship of Home Educators of Prattville Being a member of this yahoo group will give you access to the current roster, the updated calendar of events, the group email chain for reminders and updates, and a host of other things. Gadsden Christian Home Educators This e-mail group is set up for the homeschooling families who are members of the Gadsden Christian Home Educators support group in Gadsden, Alabama. Includes Marion Co., Winston Co., Walker Co., Franklin Co. surrounding counties. HS4RKids A group for Moms/Dads who are home schooling because they want a better/more invovled education for their child/children. HS4RKids is open to home schoolers in North AL and Southern TN. HS4RKids Social Group A group for home schooling families who would like a place to post social activities for home schoolers that they have planned or others have planned for home schoolers in the North Alabama area. Huntsville Area Non-religious Homeschool HHEAT was founded in June 2005 out of a need for an open and welcoming group for any and all homeschooling families in the Huntsville area to meet and discuss regardless of ethnicity, faith, lifestyle or home-schooling style. Jefferson County Alabama Homeschoolers This is a group for families homeschooling children in Jefferson County, Alabama. We will share tips and form friendships and hopefully organize field trips. Look Out Mountain Area Group We are a group of families that are educating our children at home and support each other in that goal. We have different church-school coverings but live in a tri-county area of North East Alabama on Look Out Mountain; mainly Cherokee and Dekalb Counties, but others are very welcome.
