With homeschooling, we never have snow days. The kids that I
teach, Adam and Bekah Ward, only have to troop about twenty feet
from their house to my cabin, five days a week, at eight o'clock

For Alaskan independent homeschoolers who have resolved to remain
free of state control in all manner possible, specifically by
not accepting any state monies through the State of Alaska correspondence
or charter school programs. Membership to this group is invitation
only or through the sponsorship of an existing member.
Alaskan Homeschoolers
Provides parents, administrators, teachers, and communities timely
and useful information in regard to home, charter, private and
other progressive, alternate forms of education in the State
of Alaska.
AlaskaHS
We hope to have dialog, activities, networking, discussions,

to those participating. This is a new group with old and new

Program
A homeschool/correspondence program for the Kenai Peninsula Borough
School District (KPBSD) serving and facilitating the needs of
over 400 homeschool parents and students on the Kenai Peninsula.
Delta Cyber School
A useful option for any of your homeschool parents who would
prefer to have someone teach more advanced subjects like math,
science, and foreign language. We teach the courses ourselves,
but the students take the classes at home. Access to a computer
and the Internet are required.
