Finally! A textbook that wont bore kids! This fun, easy-to-read journal follows a familys trip across Canada. Its filled with facts as presented in the running commentary of a 12-year-old boy, Guy. The family travels to every province and territory in Canada, beginning in British Columbia. Guy suspects the trip is supposed to be educational because, as he says, My mom used to be a teacher and she cant always turn it off.

Alberta Regulation 145/2006 School Act Home Education Regulation
On August 1, 2006, a new Home Education Regulation came into effect, furthering government's commitment to home education.

Achievement Test Administration-Policy
A student enrolled in a home education program shall complete the provincial achievement tests or an alternative form of assessment approved by the superintendent, in accordance with the Home Education Regulation, Alberta Regulation 126/99.
