California Cover Schools (ISPs) Some California homeschool families prefer not to homeschool independently, but rather through an institution operated either through the state or as an independent organization. This is a list of independent homeschool organizations filed as R4 private schools. Almaden Valley Christian School A home education service for families of children with learning differences, difficulties and disabilities. We provide information, consulting and resources to parents teaching their children at home. American Christian Academy Extension Campus Serving Sonoma, Marin and Lake Counties. BayShore School A California Private School Independent Study Program for Grades 1 - 12. We are available to assist families to meet the individual needs of each child while staying within the parameters set forth by the California Education Code. Bear Hollow School A private, secular ISP serving California homeschoolers, offering a range of services from record keeping to customized curriculum development.
