International Homeschooling
This page has only countries for which
I could find few links or contacts. Those with a good number
of links have their own pages and can be found in the table of
contents to the left. No country is intentionally left out. I
rely on you who visit this page, living and homeschooling in
other countries, to help me keep the International pages relevant.

Mijn doel voor deze site is om een informatiepunt te zijn voor
iedereen die belangstelling heeft in thuisonderwijs.

Thuisonderwijs
In Dutch. In English.
In the Netherlands every child is subject to compulsory education
from his fifth birthday. The exemptions are extended on the basis
of a clause in the law exempting parents from sending their child
to school if they object to the "direction" of the
education of all schools within a reasonable distance to their
home.

School - To Be or Not To Be
What is home-education? What does Swedish law say?
There's no place like home!
Homeschooling is not very common in Sweden. In all of Sweden,
with a population of about 9 million people, there are only about
200 homeschooling families. About 100 of them are officially
homeschooling, the rest are in various states of legal void.
Some of them are hiding from the authorities and some have moved
or are registered in other countries.
