This list is for the sharing of homeschooling activities, legislation, classes, etc... in Athens, Georgia and the surrounding communities.
CHASE Academy
An inclusive Christian cooperative learning center serving homeschool families in Athens-Clarke/Barrow/Gwinnett/Walton/Newton/Oconee and Rockdale Counties and the surrounding areas.
Elbert County
Includes the cities of Bowman and Elberton.
Greene County
Includes the cities of Greensboro, Siloam, Union Point, White
Plains and Woodville.
Jackson County
Includes the cities of Arcade, Braselton, Commerce, Hoschton,
Jefferson, Maysville, Nicholson, Pendergrass and Talmo.
Jasper County
Includes the cities of Monticello and Shady Dale.
Madison County
Includes the cities of Carlton, Colbert, Comer, Danielsville,
Hull and Ila.
Madison County Christian Homeschoolers
Although we welcome members of any background, this group will primarily reflect a Judeo-Christian belief and worldview.
Morgan County
Includes the cities of Bostwick, Buckhead, Madison and Rutledge.
Newton County
Includes the cities of Covington, Mansfield, Newborn, Oxford
and Porterdale.

We are an all inclusive, eclectic (mixed bag of methods), secular
homeschool group with roots in Dekalb, Clayton, Rockdale, Newton,
and Henry counties in Georgia.

Homeschoolers
We are a homeschooling family support group that does not discriminate
on the basis of race, faith, gender, lifestyle, or educational
philosophy. Most of us live east of Atlanta, in Rockdale and
Newton counties.
Oconee County
Includes the cities of Bishop, Bogart, North High Shoals and
Watkinsville.
Oglethorpe County
Includes the cities of Arnoldsville, Crawford, Lexington and
Maxeys.
Walton County
Includes the cities of Between, Good Hope, Jersey, Loganville,
Monroe, Social Circle and Walnut Grove.
Walton Co. Homeschool Support Group
We will have a park day, field trips and co-op classes. All members
are encouraged to post local events, classes, tutors,business'
and other items of interest to the local homeschooling community.
