St. Tammany Parish Homeschoolers
Provides positive support and encouragement to homeschooling families in the greater St. Tammany Parish area (including Tangipahoa, Washington, Orleans parishes, as well as the Mississippi Gulf Coast area).

We are in an area of Louisiana that was (and still is) heavily impacted by Katrina (the parish that the hurricane traveled just across the lake from New Orleans - we had storm surges that destroyed much of our three lakeside towns, as well as those along the MS gulf coast and are, in fact, an area where nearly every place where there once was a home, now sits either a FEMA trailer or tents).  After we began to come out of our fog, we began to realize that many of our member families of the three local inclusive groups had permanently relocated out of state.  Because of this sad reality, the owners of these three groups met and decided to merge into one cohesive group to form The St. Tammany Parish Homeschoolers.  We now need assistance getting the word out.

Tammany Home Educators Association
A Christian-home-education-support group, located in the Covington/Mandeville area just north of New Orleans.
