Brings together many homeschool support groups in our area and homeschool families so that resources, events, and fellowship can be shared in a much greater way than we ever thought possible. We cover 5 counties in Maryland- Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's, Prince George's, and Anne Arundel counties.

Arundel Homeschool Support Group
AHSG is a local Christian homeschool support group based in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. They have a number of regular and special events.

Christian Homeschoolers in Southern Maryland
This group is dedicated to Christians who are homeschooling in Maryland in Charles, Prince George's, St. Mary's, Calvert and Anne Arundel Counties.

North County Home Educators
NCHE is a local support group for families in Maryland who have an interest in home education. Most of our meetings are in the northern part of Anne Arundel County, but membership is open to everyone.

BALTIMORE AREA

Baltimore, Harford & Cecil County HomeSchoolers
North East/Central corridor in Maryland. This discussion group is open to all members of the homeschool community in Harford, Cecil and Baltimore counties of Maryland. We also welcome homeschoolers who reside outside of this local area to join and participate.

CARROLL COUNTY

Educating Our Own

Secular Homeschool Enrichments for the LaPlata Area Community

HARTFORD COUNTY

Homeschool Association of Harford & Surrounding Areas
HAHSA (originally known as the Harford Area Home School Association) is an open, inclusive, and non-religious association of homeschool families from Harford County and the surrounding areas. Membership is free and open to homeschoolers of all faiths, philosophies, and styles.

HOWARD COUNTY

Holy Family Apostolate
A Catholic homeschool support group that meets in western Howard County, MD.

Howard County Home Educators
We are Howard County's first and oldest inclusive homeschool support group. Our purpose is to enable homeschooling families to find each other for support, information, cooperative learning experiences, homeschooling advocacy and friendship. We are a diverse group; we strive to respect, support and learn from the choices made by each homeschooling family.

LOUDOUN COUNTY

EcoVillage of Loudoun County, VA
Scroll down about half way to information about how this family-oriented "intentional" community supports homeschooling in its area. They support 5 homeschool groups and 4 email lists when I last looked at the site.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Heritage Home School Association
Serving Montgomery County, Maryland: Rockville, Gaithersburg, Derwood, Kensington area. Heritage is a group of homeschoolers meeting once a month to encourage one another toward love, good teaching, and an abundant life in Christ.

MarylandUFC
We are a homeschooling/unschooling support group for the Montgomery County Area. Unschooling Family Connection is intended to provide support for parents; and activities, socialization, and fun for the children.

WASHINGTON COUNTY

Appalachian Regional Co-op
A small, but diverse nonsectarian group open to all families to serve the educational and social needs of homeschooling in the Washington County area.

Andrews Home Educators
Being a member of this yahoo group will give you access to the current roster, contact information for AHE board members, the updated calendar of events, the list of activity coordinators, our home business/skill list, the AHE Swap Shop, the AHE Library inventory, the group email chain for reminders and updates, and a host of other things.

Chieftain Institute
A ministry of Derwood Bible Church for Christian homeschoolers. High school students are able to take academic classes once a week for credit. In addition, electives are available for 1/2 credits. The electives are also offered to middle school students (6th-8th) for enrichment, without credit.

Homesteaders
Provides support to the Christian homeschooling family through: Mom's support night, Activity days; Field Trips; S.P.O.K.E.S; Special Events; Monthly Newsletter.

Mason-Dixon Homeschoolers Association
Serves homeschool families in South Central Pennsylvania and Western Maryland. We offer co-op classes, a high school diploma program, support groups, field trips and much more.

Western Maryland Homeschool Association
A group for homeschooling parents and children in Western MD - Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties. We also include Mineral and Hampshire counties in West Virginia, and Somerset and Bedford counties in Pennsylvania.
