House bill (LSR 827) introduced to criminalize NH homeschoolers
January 24, 2011. Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) in Virginia drafted a bill to amend the NH home education law. Their bill, LSR 827, proposes to criminalize parents who "fail to educate" their children properly. Please call these bill co-sponsors and ask them to withdraw their support. Criminalizing homeschoolers is not a good idea. It would be a First-in-the-Nation black eye for the Live Free or Die state.
