- Indians
of New Jersey Dickon Among the Lenapes
by Jan L. Harrington, M. R. Harrington
- This is not only a story about the Lenape people in particular,
it is an excellent source of information for anyone wishing to
know how the human race flourished before the advance of technology.
-
- The
Hindenburg
by Patrick O'Brien
- Gr. 3-6. Although the Hindenburg disaster is fully
and forcefully depicted in both the text and the watercolor-and-gouache
artwork, O'Brien's picture book for older readers focuses more
on the dream the Hindenburg represented than on the tragedy.
