Austin & Hill Country Support Groups

Please note: I do not live in Texas, and am doing the best I can to place support groups in appropriate geographical regions or near the nearest large city. Austin

Annunciation - Austin
We are a Catholic homeschooling cooperative that offers classes twice a week at a local Catholic church and regular expert family consultations for homeschoolers. Located in Austin.

Austin Area Home School Sports
An association of home school parents providing excellence in competitive home school sports for students from elementary through high school. Football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, golf, and track are among sports offered.

Austin Area Homeschoolers
A network of families who homeschool or are exploring the possibility. Up-to-date calendar included.

This group is a support network for Lake Travis area Catholic homeschoolers who attend Emmaus Catholic Parish or other Catholic churches in the surrounding area including the Bee Cave Road - RR 620 South - Hwy 71 - Marble Falls corridor as well as the Hwy 290 - Hamilton Pool Road - Dripping Springs corridor.

Holy Family Homeschoolers
An organization of Catholic homeschooling families in the greater Austin area. We work together to provide educational field trips and social activities for our homeschooling children.

Lake Travis Homeschoolers
We are an active group of homeschoolers supporting the Lake Travis area of Texas including Apache Shores, Bee Cave, Bee Creek, Briarcliff, Cardinal Hills, Hamilton Pool, Hudson Bend, Lake Pointe, Lakeway, Spicewood, Steiner Ranch, and The Hills.

Round Rock Home-educators Offering Moms Encouragement
RRHOME is a Christian-based support group in Round Rock, TX, for mothers of home schoolers or mothers who are considering home schooling.

Smoothing the Way
A support group in Texas which is dedicated to serving first-year homeschooling mothers. Each month a topic of specific interest to the new homeschooler is offered. Meetings in Austin and San Antonio monthly.

Bastrop County

Bastrop County Homeschoolers

Located deep in the heart of Texas, this Christ centered group provides fellowship and moral support for families striving to teach their chidren at home.

Christian Home Educators Support System
We are a group of more than 100 families who have chosen to homeschool our children for a variety of reasons. Our members come from within an approximate 50-mile radius of the Fort Hood Army Installation, including Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, Gatesville, Kempner, Lampasas, and Copperas Cove.

MidTex Inclusive Homeschoolers
This is an inclusive support group for homeschooling families in Bell County. All faiths, creeds, beliefs and homeschooling styles are welcome.
