Astronomy

The Newark Museum
The Museum complex, the largest in New Jersey, weaves together 80 galleries of art and science, a mini zoo, planetarium, gift shops, cafe, auditorium, sculpture garden, schoolhouse and the Ballantine House. 49 Washington Street, P.O. Fosterfields Living Historical Farm
NJ's first "living historical farm" has year-round tours and special events. Not a replica, Fosterfields is a working farm, using the tools, techniques, and materials of a turn-of-the-century farm. Located in Morristown, NJ.

Museum of Early Trades & Crafts
Exhibits, programs and special events, with a special emphasis on educating and entertaining children of all ages. Located in Madison, NJ

New Jersey State Museum
From fossils to fine art, from Native American tools to the finest silver, from quilts to comets, from prehistory to the future, the New Jersey State Museum is four museums in one and offers a galaxy of experiences for every member of the family. 205 West State Street in Trenton.

Franklin Mineral Museum & Mine Replica
The Franklin Mineral Museum has over 4,000 species and 3 dump areas to investigate - a wide range of geological, mineralogical, archaeological, and historical themes to offer its visitors. Open weekends in March, daily April to November. Located an hour from NYC at 32 Evans Street, Franklin, Sussex County, NJ.

Sterling Hill Mining Museum
A world famous underground zinc mine in northwestern New Jersey open for tours to all. Located in Ogdensburg, an hour from NYC.

Music

Bay-Atlantic Symphony
We offer very inexpensive educational concerts for students in Atlantic, Cumberland and Cape May counties. Concerts are performed at Cumberland County College in Vineland, and at Stockton College in Pomona. We welcome homeschoolers to our entertaining performances. (856) 451-1169.

Nature

Cape May
World renowned for bird watching, because it is one of the largest breeding grounds for neotropical migratory shore birds in the world. This is a monthly magazine site, with new articles monthly.

Turtle Back Zoo

Paper Mill Playhouse Children's Theatre
