History

Klamath County Museum system
Includes three properties -- the old Klamath Falls Armory Building, the Baldwin Hotel and the Fort Klamath historic site. Among the museums' most valuable holdings are thousands of historic photographs dating to the late 1800s. If you haven't been to our  Museums lately, come see what you are missing.

Mission Mill Museum

Oregon Historical Society
Learn about the history of the American Northwest. I was once a docent here during hte Bicentannial celebration. Their store is the best place in the state to get accurate historical materials. 1200 SW Park Avenue, Portland, OR 97205. (503) 222-1741.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival
More than just the plays, the whole town goes "period" so that you feel you've stepped back in time. There are now three theatres participating in the festival in Ashland, OR. Educational materials available.
