Why under "support groups?"
Because communities of homeschoolers spring up around theese
camps! Not always held in the summer, many take advantage of
lovely fall weather and uncrowded camping areas. Many homeschool
associations and support groups hold camps for members.
Camps for Kids
Camp El Har
Once again we are joining with camp El Har's "Outdoor Education
Program" and their excellent facilities to offer our home
schoolers the finest in educational opportunities available in
the DFW metroplex area, Texas. Summer camp and year 'round
programs.
Homeschool
Camp at Overlook Farm
Held in February, May and September in Rutland, Massachusetts.
Themes: Peace & Justice Camp, Participatory Development Camp,
and Farm Animal Camp.
Homeschool
Camps at Timberline Ranch
Held in January and February. Christian camp. Horeback riding
and typical camp activities. Maple Ridge, British Columbia,
Canada.
